YOUR PARALEGAL SOLUTION

"If you work for another person, do your work HIS WAY, not yours, and do it in a gracious, pleasing manner." Napoleon Hill

The demands of the legal profession has made it a requirement for Attorneys to have support staff to assist with all aspects of the firm's business operations. Attempting to go it alone will surely result in difficulties with providing effective and efficient legal services while also maintaining a profitable business. In today's economic environment is it even more challenging to sustain a financially successful law practice.

At Parallution we are your paralegal solution. We are paralegals as defined by Business and Professions Code § 6450 who are competent and capable in providing support to Attorneys working as sole practitioners or in small partnerships. Together we can accomplish the goals of your clients and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Parallution contracts its services to Attorneys thereby maintaining its paralegals as independent contractors rather than employees. Such an arrangement has significant financial and tax benefits for Attorneys. Nevertheless, please consult with your financial advisor and/or tax advisor for more information.

Parallution is limited to providing paralegal services in the following areas of law:

  • Probate (Decedent Estates, Conservatorships, Guardianships)
  • Probate Litigation
  • Trust Administration
  • Trust Litigation

  • California Real Property Law including Unlawful Detainers
  • Family Law

THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM'S RECOGNITION OF THE LEGAL ASSISTANT PROFESSION

The United States Supreme Court case of Missouri v. Jenkins, 491 U.S. 274, 109 S.Ct. 2463, 105 L.Ed.2d 229 (1989), established that the legal assistant profession has come of age. This important case defines a legal assistant position not as a secretarial or clerical position but as a professional, fee-generating profession. Former Chief Justice Warren Burger stated that the "expended use of well-trained assistants, sometimes called 'paralegals,' has been an important development. The advent of the paralegal enables law offices to perform high quality legal services at a lower cost. Possibly we have only scratched the surface of this development."

As a result of the foregoing Attorneys have now been attracted to the services and business arrangement proposed by Parallution. If you are interested in retaining our services for the short-term, long-term or on a case by case basis please contact us and we will be happy to discuss our services and fee agreement.
